No, this is not a hotel. It is the home of the former Sultan of the United Arab Emirates. Looks like this is what we pay for when we go to the pump. It must be nice to have a lot of oil in your country :)

the reason you pay so much is the pitiful mileage american cars get!!
if 20 years ago us car makers worried about that instead of cup holders, 8 speaker stereos and all the other XXXXola, perhaps you could find a car that gets 60 mpg. cars like that exist in "old europe"!!!
don't blame the arabs for the "big three" lack of progress.
